The flight was pretty empty so it was quite comfortable; it only took 1:30 to make the short trip across the Yellow Sea. After a nice rest in the Renaissance hotel and actually sleeping in until 08:00 I hired a driver and went on an afternoon tour of Seoul. Our first stop was at the Changdeokgung Palace; it was constructed in 1405 as a secondary palace of the Joseon Dynasty. Did I mention it was hot and humid today! After the Palace tour we visited the Nam Dae Market and walked the streets looking for good bargains. I negotiated a deal for two football jerseys, S. Korean club team and Italy.
